Tomorrow starts a new month and therefore a new birthday girl. October's birthday girl is Samantha Jewel Wilson who will have to share a few days with her mommy Mary who also has an October birthday. But to finish off September, here is another picture of Lindsay. In this picture she is in her daddy's arms in the Smoky Mountains when she was 2. It has been a pleasure looking back and choosing pictures to use this past month. Love you Ladybug!

Lady Mustangs Rule the Day
The Freshman Lady Mustangs Volleyball Team won their tournament today. Three great games ladies! Paschal, Northwest, and Coppell were all worthy opponents but the Mustangs played hard and smart and pulled out the wins for 1st place! Proud of Lindsay and the other Mustangs. Samantha thought it was funny that the last game was the Mustangs vs the Cowgirls! Only in Texas!
It's A Volleyball Kind of Day
Today there is a Freshman Volleyball Tournament at GHS. We are excited to go and watch Lindsay play. Her team is currently at 13-0. Samantha spent the night and is looking forward to watching the games. We took her to a game last week and she sat by me explaining the game as it went along! Good luck Lady Mustangs!
Lindsay back row, right. She is #5.

So Proud of Steffinee!
I talked with Steffinee last night and I am so proud of her. She has always struggled with math, hated it, etc. She is a freshman at Shawnee (OK) High School this year and finds she really enjoys algebra. At this point in her first grading period she has an A in algebra. Way to go Steffinee!!

My Ladybug
Since Lindsay was a toddler I have affectionately called her My Ladybug. With that has come this thing between us that she gets something "ladybug" from me for her birthdays and Christmas. Ladybugs come and go in popularity and are sometimes easy to find and harder at other times. This year I had to order a little jewelry box and of course it arrived late. So here is my Ladybug with her ladybug gift a few days late.
Love you Ladybug!
