STEFFINEE'S COOKIES

Steffinee, like her sister Samantha, loves to bake. She took time to make some pumpkin spice cookies for her papaw and Dustin while she was here.

STEFFINEE VISITS

Steffinee rode the Amtrack Train from OKC to Ft Worth to be here for Samantha's birthday. We had some time to visit her favorite spot in Grapevine on Tuesday before her train departed. She absolutely loves the Grapevine Library.

STEFFINEE AND SAMANTHA MADE AUNT CINDY A BIRTHDAY CAKE

The girls worked hard this afternoon making their Aunt Cindy a birthday cake. She has probably never had a cake baked with more love. They were proud to deliver it to her.

MY BAKERS

Tonight while I was at a church workers banquet Steffinee and Samantha made cupcakes. They both love to bake and have a good time in the kitchen. They do a good job. From the frosting on Samantha's face I believe she has sampled their work!

I hate water but my kids and grandkids love it. Here is Samantha in a friend's pool today then her and Steffinee on their way back from a weekend of floating on the Comal River in Central Texas.

ANOTHER BUSY DAY

Steffinee is sad that it is almost time to go home but she got a lot of fun in yesterday. Books are her passion so she spent a lot of time at the Grapevine Public Library. After the library we went to Sonic for milk shakes. Last night she went out for frozen yogurt with Lindsay. She managed all that even though she slept until after noon! Below are Steffinee, Samantha, and Dustin sitting under the mister at Sonic while waiting for their milk shakes. Dustin tried the jalapeno chocolate which sounds gross but I tasted it and it was actually good. The girls choose milder more traditional flavors.

CRAZY SISTERS

Steffinee and Samantha don't get to see each other often but they sure have fun when they are together. Last night they did some crafts and got in silly mode. Love these girls.

One thing about our family is that we all have an independent streak and it was never more evident than in this picture of Steffinee. She had a formal school ball to attend and this was her choice of shoes with her long formal dress. No strappy little heels for our gal when boots are available! Stay true to yourself, Steffinee!

HAPPY SWEET 16 STEFFINEE JO WILSON

16 years ago today we got a phone call from Ft. Riley, Kansas that we had another beautiful granddaughter. Steffinee Jo you have been such a special blessing to our family and we love you dearly. Have a great birthday today!

STEFFINEE HAD A FUN TIME IN TEXAS

Steffinee is headed back to her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma this afternoon. She really had a great time in Texas and was thrilled to spend time getting to know her Great-Aunt Janet Ritter and Cousin Stacy Ritter.

RIDING THE TRAIN FROM GRAPEVINE TO FORT WORTH

On Monday ten of us boarded the train in Grapevine and rode in the old-fashion first class car to The Fort Worth Stockyards. We all had a great day. It has been great having Janet and Stacy visiting. We are sorry to see them leave today.

FUN LOVIN' COUSINS

These two cousins live in two different states but they always have fun when they get together. Last Friday they spent the day enjoying Hawaiian Falls Water Park thanks to tickets from cousins Lauren and Lindsay.

July 4 Lake Grapevine Camping

I love this picture Cindy found of Lindsay and Steffinee when they were young. Most of my grandchildren were spaced out but these two are only 4 months apart in age. It was always interesting to see them together when they were little girls. In this picture Lindsay is sharing the special aroma of a candle with Steffinee. They are beautiful young ladies now but sometimes I still miss those early days.

Steffinee's Busy Day

Steffinee is really enjoying her Spring Break week. She got here Saturday evening. Sunday was church and Isabell's birthday luncheon. Yesterday she visited Dustin's college and went out for a Mexican dinner with Daddy and family. Today Aunt Cindy took her shopping, out for a Chinese lunch and then for a pedicure. Later Dustin took her to a movie. Here are a few pictures from her big day today.
