Samantha is one excited 8-year-old!  She is spending the night at Cindy's and going to Baylor tomorrow to see Lauren and attend her first college football game.  She is excited to visit the bear pit, see the campus, and go to the game.  But she is most excited that she will get to see Lauren and her "dome".  I was a bit confused as I thought Lauren was living in a "dorm"!  Anxious to see Samantha Sunday and hear all about it!  Thanks to cousin Lindsay for choosing to take Samantha this weekend!

DUSTIN & LAUREN OUR COLLEGE KIDS

Dustin and Lauren will soon be finished with their first week of college this year.  Lauren's first year - Baylor University and Dustin's third year - Tarrant County College.  Saw in the TCC Collegian yesterday that TCC has over 50,000 students.  I didn't realize it was that big.  I have no idea how many students Baylor has.
This picture was taken a little over a week ago.  They are great kids and we are so proud of them.

Our Miss Volleyball!

Another picture of Lindsay before last night's game.  Love to watch her play!  And we got our "Grapevine Old Folks Pass" as Steve calls it so we get in free!  That makes it even better.

Tonight is Volleyball

Papaw is really looking forward to this evening and going to Lindsay's GHS Volleyball game.  So glad her home games are just across the street so he can attend them.  He looks forward to each game and that is really good for him.  Last week the school secretary told us to go to the administration building and get a gold pass so we can get in free.  That is definitely on his schedule for today.  Love seeing him get so excited about something.  Go Mustangs!

1st Day of School

My goodness I must be getting old!  Today is the first day of school here.  We now have 2 grandchildren in college, 2 in high school, 1 in junior high, and 2 in elementary school.  Can't believe it but our oldest is in his 3rd year of college and the youngest is starting 3rd grade. So proud of them all and wish each of them and blessed year of learning.

I have no idea what this picture means, "The full quack pack", but I expect this week will be time for more than fun on the BU campus!
