Undefeated Mustangs Keep Rolling Along

Another great night for the GHS Lady Mustangs Volleyball team.  They had a little more competition last night but they pulled out the win without going to the third game!  I'm losing track but I think they are 16-0. Way to go girls!

Trans Texas Airways card circa 1950. Trans Texas later became Texas International and finally merged with Continental in 1984. Can you imagine wearing cowboy boots as a stewardess? I love the graphics on this. Super!

October Birthdays

As you know by now Samantha is our birthday girl for the month.  However we do have few other October birthdays, too.  Mary, Samantha's mother, has a birthday on the 12th and a couple of our "other girls", Sarah Campbell and Traci Cory each have a birthday this month.  Traci's is on the 20th and Sarah's is on the 28th. So to Samantha, Mary, Traci and Sarah (as well as all of you who have birthdays this month) have a great birthday month!

So much fun this month to dig out pictures of our October Birthday Girl Samantha.  This has always been one of my favorites of her.  This was taken the summer when she was one-year-old.  Hard to believe the baby in our family will turn 9 later this month.  She has such a sweet personality that she has been a real joy to our whole family these last 8 years.

Carlos' 8th Grade Football Team is Still Undefeated

Way to go Carlos and the Harwood Junior High football team.  Still undefeated with a 22-0 win tonight. Way to go guys!

Samantha is October's Birthday Girl
