Lindsay's On The Road Again

Good luck to our traveling V-ball player!  This weekend Lindsay and Cindy are in Kansas City for another National Qualifier Vball tournament.  I don't even try to keep up with Cindy's family anymore as they are too busy for me.  They know where I am and can contact me when they need to!  Good luck Lindsay and the whole Tejas team!  Some update messages are anticipated here in Grapevine.

One of my favorite bakeries in West.  My thoughts and prayers are with this small town where we always stopped for goodies when going back and forth to Waco when Cindy was a student at Baylor University.  Looking forward to do so again when Lauren goes to Baylor this Fall.

A Tableful of Trophies!

Lauren sent me a picture of the trophies they won this past weekend in Chicago.  Again, Congratulations to the Grapevine High School Choir.  Lauren said she had so much fun.   I am so glad she had such a good experience here at the end of her Senior year!  Memories to be cherished later in life!

Congratulations Lauren and GHS Choir

So proud of Lauren and the Grapevine High School choir.  I know you think I am just another bragging grandma at times (and I am!) but this weekend at the National Chorale Competition in Chicago, the GHS choir was rated 1st place in all of its divisions.  They got 5 gold medals, had the outstanding male vocalist,  and was the overall Grand Champion!  Way to go Lauren and fellow choir members!  So proud of you!
